Mandatory Theme<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All proposals must focus on the theme: \u201cAI Solutions for Arab Regional Challenges.\u201d<\/strong>
Each Proposal sho<\/strong>uld demonstrate how Artificial Intelligence can be applied to solve real problems affecting Arab societies, economies, and governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Challenge Areas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Proposals should address at least one of the following key challenge domains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sustainable Development<\/strong>
    Water scarcity, renewable energy, smart agriculture, and climate resilience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Health & Society<\/strong>
    Healthcare accessibility, disease prevention, Arabic language processing, and digital education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Economy & Infrastructure<\/strong>
    Smart cities, digital transformation, transportation, financial inclusion, and cultural heritage preservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Governance & Security<\/strong>
    E-government optimization, cybersecurity, disaster management, and transparency in public services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    Proposal Structure<\/strong> (Maximum: 5 Pages)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Each proposal must include the following sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Title & Executive Summary <\/strong> \u2013 concise overview of the AI solution and its objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Problem Statement <\/strong> \u2013 description of the challenge and its relevance to the Arab region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Proposed AI Solution <\/strong> \u2013 technical methodology, innovation, and implementation plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Regional Relevance <\/strong> \u2013 scalability, cultural sensitivity, and ethical considerations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Implementation Roadmap <\/strong> \u2013 milestones, timeline, resources, and success indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Evaluation Committee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. National Scientific Councils<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Oversee the first evaluation phase within each Arab country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Minimum of three reviewers per application, specializing in AI, computer science, or relevant technical fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Nominate the top two national finalists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        2. International Expert Panel<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Composed of AI specialists, senior researchers, and innovation leaders from Arab and international institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Evaluate finalist proposals for originality, impact, and ethical compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          3. Industry and Policy Representatives<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Include technology firms, incubators, and policy experts ensuring practical alignment with regional AI priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Contribute to judging criteria related to feasibility, scalability, and sustainability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
