Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO)
The AICTO, a specialized Arab organization operating under the League of Arab States, leads regional efforts to promote innovation, digital transformation, and the ethical adoption of emerging technologies.
Through the Arab AI Hackathon 2025, AICTO aims to empower young researchers and innovators to use Artificial Intelligence to address pressing Arab challenges in sustainable development, healthcare, education, and governance.
Strategic Partner
Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils (FASRC)
The Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils serves as the umbrella body for national scientific and research institutions across the Arab world. It coordinates regional scientific cooperation, research excellence awards, and innovation initiatives among Arab universities, research centers, and national councils.
As a strategic partner, the Federation contributes its expertise in research evaluation, peer review, and cross-border scientific collaboration to ensure academic quality and impact within the Hackathon.
National Partners
Each participating Arab country engages through its respective National Scientific Council or Higher Education and Research Authority, responsible for:
- Promoting the Hackathon locally
- Overseeing national-level evaluations
- Selecting the top two finalists representing their country
Knowledge and Industry Partners
The Hackathon also collaborates with:
- Arab universities and research centers (for mentoring and evaluation)
- AI and technology companies (for technical support, APIs, and datasets)
